| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 12, 2008 Prickly carbonation percolates up from a garnet colored brew. 1/2 eggshell head is tightly packed and leaves a bit of lacing. Aroma isn’t quite as powerful as other sours but possesses cherry skin, plum, barnyard funk, and sour apple Jolly Ranchers. Flavor is all kinds of tart, citrus and fairly acidic. Enjoyed it. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 11, 2008 Bottle, best by 07/2012. Pours a dark orange with no head. Aroma of sweet honeydew melon, lots of funk, and sour sweettart candies. Flavor is mostly sweet with just a tinge of sour. Lots of sweettart candies, some banana, apple, cherry, and other fruits. Quite drinkable, but the palate is a bit watery. A good sour, but I’m not sure where all these super high ratings(ie 4+) are coming from. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 11, 2008 BB date is 07/2012. Not as sour as i expected. Hazy amber with a fleeting head. Big aroma is wet wood, lemon, and bretty barnyard. Good sweet n’ sour flavors of lemon lime, cherry, apple pulp with a dollop of barnyard funk. A good blend here, but i’d prefer the straight Girardin lambic. Maybe this bottling needs to sit for a while. ryan (1776), Beltsville, Maryland, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 22, 2008 750mL bottle from kmweaver shared with WeeHeavy and Cyn. Thanks Ken for the bottle and Jon for inviting me over. Brown amber color. Perfect sour level. No fruit in the description, but I get the illusion of it, probably from the combination of sour, and possibly some sweetness. Delicious. vyvvy (2043), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Aug 22, 2008 Wow - this was better than expected and quite lovely. Pours cloudy dark amber with a tight, yet soapy, white head. The aroma is sour with some cheese-like lambic aspects, lactic acid, wild yeast and some barnyard traits ~ crisp, biting and beautiful. Medium body that starts crisp then ends smooth and milk with some delightfully soft carbonation. The flavor starts with lemony / citric tartness then more earthy lambic traits come in followed by lactic tartness followed by all the traits blending seemlessly with some blue cheese-like funk. The finish repositions the flavors putting the cheese funk in front then some milkiness and some citric acid in the background. This is some kind of beautiful. Massive thumbs up for this beer. I love this beer. WeeHeavySD (2970), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA
