Pours orange golden with a thick white lace. Nose is hoppy, musty and slightly vinegarish. Delicious, slightly tannic flavor with more vinegar, a bit of wood, and a bit of hoppy citrus notes. Pours an orange-amber color; slightly hazy; light tan head with fine-bubbled lacing. Slightly tannic, red fruits, and slightly vegetal in the aroma; bit of bandaids? Medium-to-full mouthfeel: lightly tannic red wine notes, mildly tart citrus, breadiness and toasty malts; again, tannic and slightly flabby overall; lots of red fruits. Not really overly impressed by this one; perhaps sampled a touch warm, and I’ve got another bottle to try again soon. Lengthy finish: red fruits, tea, tannins, and toasty malts; very dry end. renffisch (520), london, Greater London, England
