Big bottle from GBBF. Now this is a beer. It’s basically Rodenbach "Vin De Cereale" only, you can find it. Slightly hazy pour but an absolutely cracking Flemish-sour taste with rich-tea biscuits and conflakes for afters.

Pours a lightly hazy golden amber with a medium bubbly off white head that left some lacing. Aroma was musty, a big earthy, citrus, caramel, notes, some cherry, floral and funky. Really solid nose! Flavor of sour cherry, funky., musty with a citrus overtone.

Bottled 75 cl vintage 2007 (BB 12/2012)
Hazy amber-brown color, tiny head. Earthy sour cherry aroma. Very dry, sour cherry flavor, delicious acidic fruity finish, some earthy notes. Very dry, tart and fruity. Long citrus-like aftertaste. Tastes less than 7 %. Nicely balanced lambic.

750mL bottle, courtesy of acrdz, Friday at BCTC. Thanks, Mike! Pours orange golden with a thick white lace. Nose is hoppy, musty and slightly vinegarish. Delicious, slightly tannic flavor with more vinegar, a bit of wood, and a bit of hoppy citrus notes. I love this brewery and they continue to impress with this offering.

750mL bottle, courtesy of acrdz, Friday at BCTC. Thanks, Mike! Pours an orange-amber color; slightly hazy; light tan head with fine-bubbled lacing. Slightly tannic, red fruits, and slightly vegetal in the aroma; bit of bandaids? Medium-to-full mouthfeel: lightly tannic red wine notes, mildly tart citrus, breadiness and toasty malts; again, tannic and slightly flabby overall; lots of red fruits. Not really overly impressed by this one; perhaps sampled a touch warm, and I’ve got another bottle to try again soon. Lengthy finish: red fruits, tea, tannins, and toasty malts; very dry end.

bottle with magic_dave @ ealing bf 08. sweet lactic acid nose with loads of fruits and a tad of freshly cut grass. Thick hazy orange colour with a big off-white fluffy head which legged it fairly quickly. Extremly smooth not too sour and flavoursome beer. bit musky and dusty with fruity vanilla and a long tart fruity finish. thanks mate.
