| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 28, 2008 Murky copper color with no head. Slightly sour aroma, wheat and honey. Light wheat flavor. Very slight vinegar. Watery and a bit tart. Decent enough, but would need years to develop into a world class gueze, if then. BoBoChamp (1361), Gent, Belgium

| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Jul 21, 2008 (Bottled, 0.75l, the inner cork was leaking and slightly moldy) Very hazy golden-orange with a medium, foamy and lacy head. Aroma of wheaty lambic tartness, but also the vinegar of sour ales, and dried fruit. Slightly sweet and caramely, vinegary, pleasantly tart, earthy flavor with dried fruit, then some bitterness in the dry and astringent finish. Medium-bodied with slightly fizzy carbonation. Lambic tartness, Flemish vinegar, Saisony hops, easy to drink... what more can you expect? An almost perfectly balanced summer drink! JFURYCAT (791), East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jul 18, 2008 It gives out an acidic bark towards the end and starts with an rather oakish lemony twang along with a vinegar-like quality. Whats really tasty about this one is how that citrus element combines with the sour tones. The flavor gives it a dry feel but the body is more on the medium side. It seems like a solid effort for a sour ale and the blend is seamless despite the intentional musky qualities. This came from the NEPA case club June split! wj94 (64), Virginia, USA
| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Jul 15, 2008 Courtesy of Secret Santa Summer ’08 (a.k.a. pepsican). Amber pour with 1-finger head, good lacing, tartness present immediately, a bit of a sour finish. Tastes much like a scaled-down version of De Dolle Oerbier Reserva (one of my favorites), also as if it was aged in a wine barrel or something. Clean finish, very balanced. Most sours I can only drink one or two, I could probably drink this all day (especially in the summer). Awesome beer, would love to get some more of this. Thanks Santa! theisti (1674), Leawood, Kansas, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 14, 2008 750 ml bottle picked up at Zipps in Minneapolis by my Dad, recommended by Tyler. Pour is hazy golden orange with a 1/2 inch white head. Decent lacing is left behind as the head retreats. Aroma is tart, sour and musty. Tartness is a lemon tartness. Sour is cherries, very fresh cherries. Taste is sour tart lemon, with cherries adding a nice acidic edge. Very big citrus rind in the finish. Woodiness and earthiness are present in the aftertaste. Not overpowering at all nicely blended and superbly balanced. Soft and delicate. The finish is clean and really delicate. This was certainly the beer of the day at the csbosox tasting. Thanks for recommending this one Tyler, it was great. djtimeless (172), Florida, USA
