Poured a murky, red copper color, with no head, or lacing left on the glass. Aroma of strong brett, citrus fruits, wood, light caramel, some spices, and horseblanket. Taste of light toffee, some honey, green apple, lemon peel, wood, and vanilla, with citrus fruits, and a dry, tart finish.

75 cl bottle, bottled July 07. Cloudy coppery with a number of huge yeast particles. Small, lacy head. Nose: funky, sherry, hints of brown sugar and cinnamon powder. Dry, moderately sour and generously fruity - citrus ubiqitous yet unassertive. A touch of faro, a hint of cinnamon and a bitterish finish. Smooth, almost viscous body.

Pours completely murky, cannot see through it at all. Has a strong head that never fully fades. Aroma has a whole lot of barnyard funk from the lambic and then there is a light sweetness from the Tripel. The taste on the other hand starts more so with the Tripel and ends in a pronounced Geuze with a lingering dryness. Light sourness, barnyard and lingering acidity throughout. The lambic portion makes this very easy to gulp down despite the medium body.

Bottle. Pours hazy dark strawish with 3-finger off-white head. Nose is sour mashy malt, gueuzy citrus fruit, funk, earthy peaty root cellary notes. Tastes tart, citric, with some funk matched by earthy notes, and cobwebby root cellary esters as it finishes. Stays tart, with a medium palate heft and above average carbonation.

Bottle at monks. Pours a light amber body with a light co2 head. Aroma is funk, dark malt sweetness, some peach and grapefruit like hops. A little acidity comes off with an almost honey sweetness. A very prevalent sweet funkiness an great blend indeed.

[1144-20080301] Bottle. Sour straw and wet earth aroma. Clear, light brown orange body with a long-lasting creamy white head. Sour straw mustiness continues in flavour with tart light earth and lemon pips. Medium body is sour. Interesting to try but a little disappointing once found.

(on bottle) Light orange, white head. A very intense, yet withheld maltnose, blended with dirt and horsesweat. Fruity taste, tart with cherries and dry herbs in the finish. The dryness allmost gets burning in the long finish.
