| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 19, 2009 Deep ruby-chestnut coloured beer under small beige head. Chocolate, plywood, roasted malts for aromas. More dark and chocolate malts, restsugars, even molasses in the taste. Dry MF despite the respectable sugarcontent; medium bodied at least. Pretty sweet and molasses-like in flavour. But I’m surprised about people calling it sticky, as the finish appears rather thin to me. Probably labelbeer for Villers St. Ghislain brune, Double Enghien brune, etc. larsniclas (3391), Gothenburg, Sweden

Red-brown colour, clear hue. Nice, creamy off-white head. Big diacetyl aroma, that leans a bit towards honey pastilles. Sticky sweet in flavour with diacetyl here as well. This is really sticky!
