Mar 19, 2008 As Cuvee Carlsen on Carlsens Kvarter in Odense, Denmark. Hazy straw loloured beer with a lasting white head. Grain malt aroma, some wheat and some tropical fruit yeast notes. Very dry with some yeast flavours and pepper in the finish.

Feb 18, 2008 Bottle. 75cl. [Courtesy of Dedollewaitor]. Unclear light to medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, light hoppy, citrus - mandarin shell, moderate yesty, acidic, rubber. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to lively. (160208)

Jun 2, 2007 I tasted this one as Cuvée Carlsen on Carlsens Kvarter in Odense, Denmark on October 28.05. where the name is Cuvée Carlsen. It’s nice, hazy golden with a huge head. The beer is very lively. The aroma has notes of sweet fruit, and the flavour has sweetness and a lot of fruits, like melon and citrus in the finish. A nice one.

Jun 2, 2006 Golden triple like colour with fine white head. Wheat, fresh citrus fruit and lively carbonation. Easy drinkable. Very fresh.A bit hoppy and bitter finish. Very pleasant!

Oct 15, 2005 Bottle, ZBF 2005. Gold, no head and low prickle of condition. Pleasant but muted malt aroma, pleasantly sweet and malty in the mouth, slight chalky bitterness in the finish.

May 30, 2005 Updated: Jun 10, 2005(Bottle 75 cl) Beer made especially for Restaurant "’t Hommelhof" in the town square of Watou. A resturant specializing in excellent food made from the local brew. E.g. ham with St. Bernadus Tripel. This beer is a light, filtered ale, which comes in a rugged champagne-bottle (like old classic gueuze) with a cork and no label. Incredibly fresh aroma, almost like flowers. Spicy, aromatic, slightly perfumed, but with an apparent bitterness. Quite a refined beer. Brings reminders of Popering’s Hommelbier. Read somewhere that this should be a blend of "Het Kapittel Abt" and "Watous Witbier". 280704
