Bottled at Monks Cafe, Stockholm. Pours out in a clear amber colour with a firm white head. Clean aroma of caramel and rose hips. Light-bodied and clean with notes of caramel, sweet red berries and papery hops. Slippery mouthfeel. Short malty finish of fudge with a late bitterness of papery hops.

Bottle. It pours a clear, quite dark golden body with a nice off-white head. Weak nose with some caramel and a little fruityness. Sourish, roasted flavor with caramel and malts. Low on bitterness, also in the finish, which is slightly fruity with caramel. Medium body. Wondering if this one was going bad, at least there were some signs of that. Rating: 4-4-5-3-9-2.5. Old rating stand. (080829)

Bottle. It’s a clear, dark golden beer with a beige head. Malty aroma with caramel, some roasted malt and a vague fruityness. Malty, roasted, toffeeish flavor with a decent bitterness. Nice carbonation level, and a bitter and malty finish. Sure a decent bitter, but there’s nothing special to it. (080412)
