The smell is dry and bitter with lots of hops and a touch of dough.
The carbonation is fresh and full of medium sized bubbles. Nice!
The taste is well balanced with an integrated lovely dry bitterness and some malt with a touch of marzipan. The body is kind of weak with no traces of any sweetness or bread-notes. The aftertaste is gentle (and quite short) with a growing touch of malt and some sweetness.
A very drinkable Dortmunder for barbeques and hot summer nights! gnoff (3574), Göteborg, Sweden

Light clear yellow color. Small white head, not lasting. Mix of malty and fruity scent. A bit metallic taste. Faint malty and hoppy taste as well. Fairly high bitterness, especially for a low alcohol beer.
Quite a good lager beer, when you’re able to purchase it in your convinient store on the corner it’s even better. Kåstå (1149), Mol, Belgium

The taste is yeasty and light hoppy. Light bitter finish. For the rather low ABV this beer is quite ok. Hildigöltur (5109), København, Denmark

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 20, 2005 (Can 50 cl) Comes as "DAB Mellenöl" at 4,5% ABV. An unspectacular pilsener golden beer with a decent head and a marked bitter finish. Comes is a rather corny yellow can with a smiling sun and a red bikini top.... 280802 larsniclas (3390), Gothenburg, Sweden

Very light with a beautiful head.
Some hop and cereal in the aroma.
A plastic, metallic flavour that gives you a papery, dry palate. omhper (12298), Stockholm, Sweden
