Nice beer for multiple trips to the tap or fridge. Malty, caramel flavor with a nicely bitter finish. Aroma was nothing special. Palate is average.

Amber body with a light brown head. Aroma is malty with some simple hops character. Flavor is mostly malt with a trace of hops in the finish. This beer is okay, actually pretty good when consumed straight from the bottle without giving it any thought. Unfortunately, when poured in a glass and examined the poor thing falls apart.

12oz bottle, no BBD Brown beer poured with head, but it quickly dropped to nothing. Smells of malts, dark malts, chocoalte. Light drinking, slightly roasty and chocolatey, but uninteresting overall. Flattish & watery with a bite at the end. Just not much there.

12 oz bottle: Pours dark brown in the glass with a big tan head. Aroma is similar to the tase; a bit malty with a little taste of caramel

Bottled, pasteurised. Dark brown / red with thinnish white head. Deep malty, chocolate, coffee flavour with hints of caramel or a slight burning. Some fruitiness apparent, I quite enjoyed this one.

Color depends greatly on the lighting--in some lights this looks dark ruby, others garnet, and still others orange. Head is a light charcoal/beige, thin and quickly gone. Aroma quite malty with a light touch of caramel. Flavor similar to aroma, with just a touch of dark fruits and a very light bitterness. Don’t serve too cold or it gives the impression of a cheap beer. Unremarkable and probably doesn’t pair great with many foods, but drinkable by itself.

Clear maroon color with a big beige head. Aroma of malt and fruit/candy. Flavor is sweet, malty, grainy and nutty. Some bitterness in the finish.

Murky dark tea colored. Nose malty and sweet, bit of molasses. Flavor has caramel malts, sweet and a bit sticky.
