DAB Low Carb

Light straw blonde with a white head that fluffs upon pouring and disappears as it warms. Aroma of hops. Flavor is hoppy bitterness with a hint of soap. Leaves mouth dry.

Very pale straw color with a white wispy big bubbled head. Light grass and malt aromas. Some lace. Initial dry malt flavors, followed by a Light bitterness and touch of kraft paper. I've had one other low carb brew and this one blows that "Green 33" out of the water or lauter tun. This would be a very good hot day quencher. At least as far a low cal., low carbs go. A touch fizzy and seems to loss flavor as it goes.

Finally, a low carb beer I actaully took home. Aroma is a slight tease of malt,sweet clean schwag brew.They used hops in this too a tad anyway.Compared to the the other three low carb beers I’ve had this one is the best.Pure mega swill crap but it’s good in a way.The finish is dry,the color teases straw,whack carbonation.Top of the heap of swill(ramble)

Bubbly body with a head of nothingness. This is certainly very light, but a little drier than most lagers. Really has to be one of, if not the best low carb beers I’ve had. Above many normal lagers. Smooth and simple.

Light hoppy aroma. Decent fuffy white head. Initial taste is one of a typical light beer. But then the citrus, hoppy flavor kicks in. Fairly smooth and quenching. Would take this over any low-carb beer so far, if that's saying anything.

So, lets see if the Germans can make a decent low carb beer. A tad better, but not by much. Light white head, quickly dissipating. Good bubble action in a light golden pour. Initial crisp Saaz-based skunk-like aroma - not altogether unpleasant, settles into something similar to apple juice. Has that spritzy mouthfeel that most low carbs seem to have. Slight hoppy flavor, not too much different than light versions of Becks, etc. Not too much of a malt presence. Finishes very dry though - leaves me thirsting for something more filling. If something is this light - shouldn’t it be more refreshing?

Not much flavor, but what is there isn’t horrible. Better than Mic Ultra, but not better than much else.

One of the lightest colored pilsners I have ever seen. Not much aroma. Even less flavor in the body. I am glad I choose not to do the low carb thing...I would have to give up beer if this level of the choice that is out there.
