Jul 30, 2007 [446-20070726] Sample @ LCBO-Summerhill. Barnyard aroma smells like peed-upon wheatsheafs. Clear, light yellow body with a quick foamy white head. Light wheat flavour initially finishes ’nice’ and sweet. Light-medium body. Not impressive.

Jul 29, 2007 Can. LCBO Crisp yellow body with a small fluffy white head. Muted hops in the aroma with light floral notes, hay, minute touch of yeast. Lightly sweet flavour of pale malt with very light bitter finish. Saaz? Average to thin palate. 5/3/4-5/2-3/9-10 - 2.3
<P>April 2001 - Mediocre German lager. Very disappointing. Not nearly enough hops or malt for that matter. 3/3/4/2/9 - 2.1 (I had this entered under DAB Pilsener but I am fairly certain it was the Original so I moved it here.)

Jul 23, 2007 extremely skunky aroma with a clear gold body and large foamy white head. flavor of grainy cereal tasting malts, honey and light hops. hint of metallic.

Jul 17, 2007 660ml bottle. Pours a straw colour with a big white head. Smells like some kind of sausage meat with some dully hops and soil. Mouth is warm and slightly metallic, some light malting there, but with a balance of year more funky hops. Palate is metallic and malty, with a hint of sourness. Not as disappointing as I’d expected.

Jul 7, 2007 Average pilsener that pours a golden colour. A bit skunky. Drinkable, I guess, on days like today when it’s 30 degrees outside.
