Taste is initially malty and sweet. Lots of carbonation. Mild aftertaste. Bland and boring, but not bad. islay (481), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 3/10 | 5/5 | 12/20 | Nov 20, 2006 Bottle. Smells much like a typical American macro brew, but significantly stronger and perhaps slightly sweeter. Pours a crystal clear sparkling light gold with a small amount of head. Beholding an example like this, one can tell why golden lagers became the rage. Low and light in flavor. Not bad, but not much to it. Light-bodied, fizzy, soft, and smooth to the palate. The appearance and texture of this beer are fantastic, but the aroma and flavor are subpar (though not awful) and forgettable. DJC (238), USA

Pleasant aroma, and a clean taste. Malt and hops are just about right, with the hops prevailing in the finish. Nicely carbonated, and rather refreshing. orville (160), Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, USA

It’s pale, it’s a lager and it has a pleasant salty/ sweet flavor that will always bring me back for some more. Prost! vyvvy (2068), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 8, 2006 This is what happens with a pilsener is shipped from Germany to the US in green bottles and put on a singles shelf. Fairly fresh to the store and already light damage killing this - this is a plea to put these pilseners in brown bottles - please!!! Pours light yellow with a large egg shell white head. The aroma has grainy malt with skunkiness due to being in the damn green. Fairly light body with lots of carbonation. Taste starts out with a smooth pale malt with light sweetness with a bit of grassiness. The finish adds all of the skunkiness. I’d love to try a fresh bottle, but I’d probably have to go to Germany. theisti (1693), Leawood, Kansas, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 7, 2006 Bottle. Pours golden with large white head. Head dissipates rather quickly. Nice, crisp, clean pilsener taste. Bit of a bitter finish that made it clean and crisp at the end as well. Very refreshing beer. Nicko (191), Ashfield, Australia

Clear golden with big frothy head and lots of bubbles. Floral, grassy aromas. Full bodied. MOFO (14), Newtown (Prev: Christchurch, NZ), Australia

A good fresh pils, but perhaps lacking in body after the initial onset. I could drink this as a session beer substituting it for the more ubquitous Heineken or Becks found in long neck. A good drop, if for nothing else but a change.
