Dark Golden with an amber touch. Tall, fine head. Very malty aroma with hops and cereals. Flavor is fruity, sweetish, malty. Biscuits, low hopping, with a malty, bready, finish. Interesting, and ok overall, with good malt but it is heavy feeling and not very well balanced. Needs more hops.

App.: Clear golden with a fair white froth.
Aroma: Lots of grass and wet hay, some pepper, light malts, fresh, light and Pilsnener-esque.
Palate: Medium body and medium-light carbonation.
Flav.: So very light, there is none of the Saaz hop character, a bit of biscuit malt, little else; dry with very low bitterness.
Quite drinkable, but quite boring. swooper (474), Kladno, Czech Republic

Pours a nice bright clear golden with a nice white head- some nice lace as well. Aroma is a bit weak- slight skunk- herbal and spicy hops, light floral notes and dull cracker notes. Flavor comes through nice though- as fresh pils malts, bread, dough and very clean refined grassy hops and light floral notes come through nicely. Smooth and easy drinking- very thirst quenching on a hot day- actually a bit too thin and easy drinking for a dortmunder- 5%? seems on the low side for style- but still real nice. ha1ag (423), Maastricht, Netherlands

Aroma is hops, flavour is also dominated by hops and malt. Finishes nice and bitter. Medium body which comes out at colder temperatures nicely.
