Aroma of floral hops is enjoyable. Taste of malt is semi sweet with some subtle floral hops and a slightly bitter finish. This is a well-done and refreshing pilsner but really lacks character to make it truly enjoyable. milewide (613), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Oct 7, 2006 Pale gold with lots of sticky white head. Downhill from there. Little aroma. Most prominent feature is the thick, oily mouthfeel. Very little taste. Sweet - no bitterness at all. It doesn’t taste bad; there’s just nothing good about it. The aroma is yeasty and dry and the flavour is mild, dry and yeasty. Overall a reasonable beer. DruncanVeasey (2753), The Penguin’s Arms, Europe, Warwickshire, England
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 1, 2006 Crystal-clear, pale gold lager with a smooth maltiness. Some clumping and lacework out of a can. But becoming lifeless and sour after a dozen swigs or so. TomDecapolis (3195), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 23, 2006 Pours a translucent golden with a foamy white head that left some lacing. Aroma of sweet malts and a little fruity with some grass. Flavor also had a malty sweetness, typical German Pils. Fin (3449), Merton, Oxfordshire, England
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 7, 2006 Picked up in Morrisons Banbury recently. Pale golden in colour, white foamy head. Yeasty, malty aroma, which then moved to a very crisp and refreshing tasting beer although hardly exciting and a bit safe, which is fine if you want to drink a reasonable beer without having to think much about it. scotty (835), Scotland

Either it’s changed, or my palate has...but this was a big disappointment, it lacks on most fronts, aroma, flavour, body and palate.
