Some hints of lemon/orange, but definately not strong. Not great, not terrible. Could definately take down a few on a humid evening in southern Indiana. frink (467), coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Feb 26, 2005 Pours a yellow colour with a white head. Grassy aroma, mild hops. The flavour is fairly thin, lively carbonation, with some bittering hops in the finish. I’d say the hops are the only thing keeping this from being pure swill. Braudog (3770), Dayton, Ohio, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 22, 2005 This beer defines CRISP. It starts with an almost lemony aroma, but this is a classic German pils ... light and not as starchy or bready as it’s American cousins. muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 11, 2005 Bottle. Clear straw-gold, small white weak and dying head...grassy, caramel nose, not skunked but not great either...reasonably fresh flavor, with light malt and just a touch of hops...watery, negligible finish. | 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Dec 7, 2004 This bottled brew poured a medium sized head of frothy fine to large sized mostly lasting white colored bubbles that left behind a poor lacing. The body contained soft carbonation, was transparent and orange in color. Its aroma contained notes of malty hoppy astringent and was very mild. Its mouth feel is initially tingly astringent with a lingering tingly astringent palate and a aftertaste. Its flavor contained bitter malty hoppy astringent notes. hotstuff (3175), Indiana, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Dec 7, 2004 Bottle. Small white head, sparse lacing, carbonated, transparent, and a golden hue. Malty and somewhat skunky aroma. Flavor was rather boring-sweet and malty. Tingly mouthfeel. Nothing special IMO. wnhay (722), Princeton, New Jersey, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 7, 2004 Nothing to be proud of here. There are pilsners that are much better then this. Not a terrible beer. It was similar to Bitburger and Warsteiner, but not as good.
