Just the right amount of sweet and bitter for this body. Smells skunky but I love that. sfontain (506), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 26, 2004 Pours light golden with a minimal, white, bubbly ring. Aroma is very bready with a bit of malt and citrus, and a light skunk that actually smells good with this beer. Flavor is rather less impressive, with some sweetness immediately, but neither the bready maltiness nor the hops comes through until the finish (weird). Clean, crisp, and light. I like it. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 22, 2004 Compact foam and of medium persistence. Aroma of malt with grass notes. Optimal bitter that balance well the total taste. madsberg (4973), Søborg, Denmark
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 7, 2004 Canned: Very light yellow coloured. White dense head. Medium lasting. Is grassy, hoppy and has light malt tones in the aroma. Flavour is sweet and fruity. Malt is present but the hops characters difficult to find. Ends on a light bitter note. | 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Nov 5, 2004 Bottle. Golden yellow, with a fade to almost nothing white head. Meager malty clean aroma with a very slight hop. Flavor is bland. Maltyness fades quickly to nothing dryness, with very little hops to speak of. Frankly, I thought the N/A Klaushaler (sp?) was a much more flavorful brew than this. Unless you are really thirsty, don’t waste your time. beerhugger (541), Oshawa, Ontario, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 25, 2004 Not a bad golden yellow topped nicely with big white froth. Slightly hoppy and grassy aromas and a fairly bland but crisp mouthfeel. There’s corn in there but nowhere near as bad as the macro-swill around here. Has a bit of bitter in teh finish too. OK. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Oct 22, 2004 Can: Pours a clear yellow body with frothy white head that disappears quickly. Has slight sknuky aroma with some hops. Tastes of corn bread and has bitterness. Bitterness is left in mouth and has strong corn aftertaste. Its okay! pintbypint (1008), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
