It leaves decent lacing on the glass. It has a funky, fruity aroma. It’s pretzely and it smells very German. It is medium-light bodied, a little bubbly, but smooth with a crisp finish. It tastes funky and fruity, pretty sweet, and pretty inoffensive. There is a slight lemon-pepper note in the finish. It’s some easy drinking. dwaggs2 (560), Lee’s Summit, Missouri, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 5, 2009 Pour was like in picture. Aroma was sweet malt and medium di-methyl sulfide character. Had a medium body from a a lightly toasted malt sweetness and finished with just a bit of bitterness. Balanced brew. Nice for an every day beer. Good balance between hoppiness and malty sweetness, not bitter or overwhelming, it goes down rather nicely. Good thick, creamy head that stays with the beer as you drink it.
Reminded me that this is still a good one! weaselkenievil (738), Cheshire, England

Golden yellowy colour with thin fizzy head. Taste is a little grassy and hoppy but very drinkable. It’s cheap in my local offy too and much better than the piss they have in there. Which is not a good reason for bumping up my score but I, and I’m sure you, don’t care. beerlady (457), lucerne, Switzerland
