I really enjoyed the mini kegs of this stuff in the German Supermarkets. It made my lunch hours in Hannover more bearable. Cartoonkhaki (1150), Brantford, Ontario, Canada

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Sep 9, 2002 The bottle of DAB I sampled did not specify whether it was Pilsner or Export. I’m almost certain it must be the former, as it had very little malt flavor (or flavor of any sort) and had the Rhine Pils drying graininess in the finish. Unimpressive to say the least. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 23, 2002 Light malt aroma, a tad of skunk, stupid green bottles. Pale yellow body, very effervescent, but with a better than average head for this type of beer. Profile is clean and almost lemon-lime, very carbonated mouthfeel and a dryish finish with some spicy hop bitterness. All told, I’ve certainly had worse pilsners.
