Re-rate: Had it from tap and subtracting the skunkiness the beer is actually a pretty decent, though watery, Pilsener.

Oct 18, 2003 Tasted in Toronto from LCBO. Golden colour, clear, strong carbonation with a white sustained head. Slightly sour / tangy aroma. Flavour is sweet - very little hop presence but sweet malty start and finish.

Aug 28, 2003 fresh and flowery aroma, pale amber hue with a frothy white head, hoppy and slightly nutty character with a long and dry finish.

Aug 28, 2003 Just a DAB will do ya. Drink this if you like green bottled german pilsiners such as Becks. I am not too fond of these green botled german pilseners, however. Skunky and watered down.

Apr 14, 2003 As is wont with german beers, DAB pilsener is a very clean beautiful lager. Colour-wise it is a rich golden, extremely clear beverage with excellent head retention. Malt predominates the aroma and some light flowery hops. Malt flavours prodominate the flavour profile, with nuttiness and breadiness to the effect. The beer is slightly sweet and hopped just enough for balance. Little or no hop presence in the flavour - the malt does all the work here.
