Commercial Description:
Danish: Vi har igen i år, brygget en speciel øl til Ringsted Sommerspil 07, som i år opfører musicalen ”SKATTEØEN”. Denne gang er det BILL BROWN ALE. Vores brown ale er brygget på traditionel dansk bygmalt, og den nøddebrune farve såvel som den bløde og let cremet smag hentes fra lyse- og mørkristede karamelmalte. Som humletype har vi valgt den aromatiske amerikanske Cascade humle og BILL BROWN ALE er brygget med overgær.

Bottle @ Esbjerg Festival, 2009. Pours dark brown with a small creamy head. Caramel, toffee and bread. Vague roasted notes. Medium bodied. OK

Copper with a small off-white head. Aroma of fruit, chocolate and caramel. Sweet and fruity flavour with chocolate notes, with a hoppy touch and a nice bitter finish

Clear amber of color with an off white head. An aroma of flowers, pines, citrus and sweets. A flavor of sweets, nuts, caramel and hops. Reminds me more of an amber ale than an american brown ale.

Bottle at EsBF09. Cloudy drk grey orange colour. Very small head. The flavour is malty, has a bit of sweet bread. Mild grainy note, no more than can be tolerated because the maltiness.

Bottle. at Jydske Øldage 2009. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Week caramellic notes. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Pours hazy brown with a small, off-white film head. Sweet caramel and chocolate aroma. Highish carbonation, fine dryish mouthfeel. Flavour is soft, mostly chocolate, some light roasted notes and caramel. Softly hopped. Fine and well-balanced brown ale.
