lithy (1600), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Oct 27, 2009 Septemberfest. Sample from a bottle thanks to nearbeer. Dark red-brown. Thin off white head. Aroma is caramel, watery. Taste is thin caramel sweetness. yngwie (4880), Kristiansand, Norway Oct 19, 2009 Bottle, 22oz, thx to Papsoe. It’s a clear, copper-colored beer, quite flat and headless. Caramel, some bread and fruityness in the aroma. The flavor is much the same, with caramel dominating, and bready malts and fruity hops playing second violin. Full-bodied with surprisingly good carbonation in the mouth. Some bitterness in the finish, but mostly fruits and caramell. What is there to say? Not much wrong with it, it’s just not very interesting. 090821 faroeviking (6016), Republica Vikingo de las, Faroe Islands Sep 19, 2009 Clear deep amber. Caramel dark malty aroma.
