Commercial Description:
The Dude of York is a very California take on a classic Yorkshire beer, brewed with English ingredients and fermented with our signature lager yeast. It has clean grain flavors, a floral nose from East Kent Golding and Fuggles hops, and a crisp finish. The result is a tasty medium bodied beer that will go well with your favorite foods -- from Yorkshire pudding to pineapple pizza.

Bottle. Poured a cloudy amber color; with a smallish white head. Aroma of bread, toasted malt, yeast, earth and fruit. Flavor of sweet malt and buttered bread; not sure if this is what they were going for. A bit of floral and earthy hops. Easy to drink, but not great flavor. Ok for the style.

Saarlander hooked it up, thanks man. Rich gold pour. Aroma is malty as hell with some floral hops and crackers. Flavor is sweet and malty. Bitterness is very light. This is ok, but not amazing.

Bomber from Saarlander - thanks! Cap has a hand written "708" under the plastic. Clear, dark gold with a thin white head. Sweet, nutty, malty nose, almost candy like. Flavor is fairly sweet, but not overly so, very malty and a mild, nutty flavor. Body is just a touch thin. Extremely clean finish, went well some mild chili. Nice!

Bomber given to me by one of the Dale brothers. Pours a bronze color with a vrey nice creamy white head. Nose is very biscut like with a nice malt character. Taste is very smooth with a strong malt backbone balanced nicely with the Kent and Fuggle hop presence. This was a pleasant surprise that I’d been sitting on for awhile. A very good quality brew!

i’m told this is the brewer’s take on an esb... 7 day old bottle. clear yellowy brown/goldish color with a small off white head. house yeast aroma with notes of caramel malt, spiciness, earthy dryness, light grass and skunk (pleasant). definite lager qualities in the flavor with dry herbiness, mild caramel, skunk and grass with a slight bitter finish. medium bodied, kinda meh.
