| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | May 20, 2009 22 oz bottle, via BA Floydster. Pours a slightly hazy amber body with a one finger fizzy beige head that fell to a wispy film. The nose is quite grainy with a slight plasticy smell, some light diacetyl, and some toasted maltiness. The flavor is just as off as the nose, weak husky grains with a weird yeasty off-flavor and zero hops. There’s almost a chemical flavor on the finish. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with a slightly sticky slick finish. Moderate fizzy prickly carbonation. Overall, there were just too many issues going on with this one to make it pleasurable to drink.
