Commercial Description:
Pomona Queen is a California Common Beer, a style born right here in the 1800's. Its amber color is as rich as the flavor, which is full and balanced. Very California, not very common, and purely delicious.

22 oz bottle, via BA Floydster. Pours a slightly hazy amber body with a one finger fizzy beige head that fell to a wispy film. The nose is quite grainy with a slight plasticy smell, some light diacetyl, and some toasted maltiness. The flavor is just as off as the nose, weak husky grains with a weird yeasty off-flavor and zero hops. There’s almost a chemical flavor on the finish. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with a slightly sticky slick finish. Moderate fizzy prickly carbonation. Overall, there were just too many issues going on with this one to make it pleasurable to drink.
