Commercial Description:
Pomona Queen is a California Common Beer, a style born right here in the 1800's. Its amber color is as rich as the flavor, which is full and balanced. Very California, not very common, and purely delicious.

Bottled. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, and bread, leading to a dry finish.

22 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a fully gone head. Aroma is mild butterish and vague hops citric. Spiced and dry malty. Subdued bitterness coming through. Mild citric and a mild off-note. Ends dry and citric.

Clear medium amber color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, butter, moderate to light heavy toffee, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20090821]

Bottle. Mild caramelly aroma. Clear light amber colour. Almost no head. Caramelly flavour, slightly sweet. A little roughness, probably mostly from the hops.
