Commercial Description:
Pomona Queen is a California Common Beer, a style born right here in the 1800's. Its amber color is as rich as the flavor, which is full and balanced. Very California, not very common, and purely delicious.

Bomber from one of the Dale brothers at the Upland brewery. Pours a rusty golden hue with a pretty fat creamy white head. Nose is very malty with no real hop presence. Taste is mostly malt driven with a bit of funkiness. Has good lacing and nice carbonation but was just a so so beer.

Bomber. Sweet caramel aroma. Dark golden body with white head. Sweet sticky caramel candy with some roast and toast in flavor. The flavor was better than the burnt toasted aftertaste left lingering on the palate. Alright but that aftertaste wasn;t very enlightining.

Pours amber with a thin head. Medium caramel malt sweetness in the aroma. Caramel malt and bread in the flavor. A little grainy sweetness too. Some crisp bitterness on the front of the tongue is over taken by lingering grainy sweetness. Seems pretty true to the style perhaps a bit too grainy though.
