Nice dark brown ale, with a gorgeous frothy light tan head. Strong malty/mollasses aroma, creamy than thick, dark fruits, slight roast. Nutty malty, toffeeish tastes dominate, the nuttiness being more towards the nd. Nice on the palate. Overall a very nice beer,,gets way better as it warms.

Bottle. A copper body, clear, with a decent beige head. Roasted, sweetish nose with dried fruits and caramel. Full-bodied and a bit sticky mouthfeel with flavors of roasted malt, dried fruits and dark sugars. Roasted bitterness. Pleasant finish with dried fruits, sugar and roasted bitterness. A really pleasant one, possibly deserving a higher score. (080905)

Bottle. Copper with a small head. Aromas are sweet toffee malts with caramel and some fruitiness. Flavours are sweet malts with a light undetermined fruitiness and and lightly dry, bitter finish. Simple but decent.
