natejgood (142), Denver, Colorado, USA Apr 12, 2007 This beer pours a honey brown color and has a frothy which head that yellows as it shrinks. It leaves a ring of head around the edge of the beer. This beer smells like a classic ale with a little bit of a fresh grassy aroma. I was surprised by the lack of taste in this beer. It is almost wattery with a hint of sweetness. There may be a little bit of a bitter taste as well, but it’s hard to say. The finish has a bit of a wheat flavor to it, and my mouth retained the feeling of carbination even after the beer was gone. The lack of flavor, average smell, and strange aftertaste don’t do much for me. A pretty middle of the road beer.
dm9831 (706), Monee, USA Sep 7, 2008 copper body, off white head, slight lacing. aroma of faint maly, hint of hops. flavor of sweet malt, corn , fruit. kinda thick and oily feel, sweet finish. not bad, but not a beer i will seek out. slightly corn syrupy, i fancy. thegreenrooster (1561), St.louis, USA Sep 6, 2008 Pour is a brown with a large tan head. Aroma is almost nothing. Some malts i guess. Flavor ain’t much better. Some malts and everything is extremely watery. Nothing redeaming about this beer. Beer2000 (1310), Kristiansand, Norway Aug 24, 2008 500 ml bottle. Clear amber body with a firm off/white head. Moderate and uninspiring malty aroma. Flavor is weak malty with a weak, almost sour bitterness. Thin, watery body and disappointing from a brewery with a lot more interesting beers. Gethinbeer (684), Nova Scotia, Canada Aug 9, 2008 Bottle. Malt, hops and nuts in the aroma. Clear amber with a thin head. Flavour of malt, slight fruit notes. Nutty ale, smooth and easy to drink. Possible sesh beer. good one at that. Beth101 (155), West Yorkshire, England Aug 4, 2008 Dark amber wit a rapidly disappearing head. Smell of syrupy fruit , roasted hops and malt. Slightly fizzy.
