dwyerpg (2118), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Oct 18, 2007 Pretty sweet malty aroma. Flavor is light and malty with a light hop finish. Nice German beer. jeverszeuge (131), Germany Aug 28, 2007 dallmayr in munich is famous for coffe and all kinds of delicasies. copper colour, small head, vanishing fast. starts roasty then gets more and more bitter by the hops. som caramel. the whole taste ends fast. seems you just pay your 2,50 euro just for the name and not for the content. for white truffes, gooseliver and dom perignon doublemagnum dallmayr semms ok - for beer definitively not. rlgk (3237), Motala, Sweden Nov 9, 2006 Amber with a quite quickly disappearing offwhite head. Malty aroma, a bit rasted, vegetable notes. Malty flavor with too much alcohol in the finish. Chocolate notes, some bitterness. Not the best beer, but still its good enough to make the brewer brave enough to be official... I mean, what´s the point of making a beer and not stand for it? screwball (707), Motala, Sweden Nov 9, 2006 Amber body. White head. Malty, burnt sugar in the aroma. Toffee and some alcohol in taste. Also sweet malt.
