thedm (3405), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Mar 21, 2008 This corked ceramic bottled mead from a bottle shop poured a head of medium sized clear colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a transparent uncarbonated light yellow-orange colored body and a oily lacing. The aroma was honey and ginger. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a strong vinous aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of mild spice sweet vinous honey and ginger. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again.
BlackDonald (610), On a beer trip all over the USA, California, USA May 13, 2008 LIght honey and spice in the aroma. Has a very distinct nose, and pours a beautiful heavy oily in the glass, leaving great lacing. Warming on the palate, but tastes very clean, and very heavy, with a lingering sweet finish.
