Bottled. A deep red mead. The aroma has strong notes of honey as well as some notes of blueberries, caramel, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of honey and caramel, as well as medium notes of blueberries, and alcohol leading to a dry alcoholic finish. Warming nicely. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear red. Very berry-like aroma - almost redwineish - with only vague honey accents. Medium body, a little sloppy and unrefined, berry accents and subdued honey notes. Weird edge of ashes. A really strange mead and not overly convincing. 301109

Jesper’s bottle @ Ølbutikken. Pours a clear red with no head. Smells of honey. Sweet and full bodied. Lots of honey aromas but also some blue berries. Hints of bog myrtle. Sticky mouthfeel. Bitter finish.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden deep redish with no head. Honey herbal and mild blueberry fruity aroma. Sweet honey flavoured, very smooth and mild berry fruity. Distinct spiced, herbal and phenolic from back of the nose. Very smooth and pleasant. Lingering fruity into the far finish.
