Jan 17, 2009 Ceramic Bottle from Holiday Wine Cellar. Pours reddish copper with no head. Nose is sweet with honey and touch bitterness from hops. Taste is sweet and bitter with a huge warming punch. Overall tasty mead a bit too hot, but thats a mead for you.

Dec 5, 2008 Bottle... Clear golden mead with lots of nice, weeping residue and legwork. Spicy, warm nose of ginger, vanilla, white oak, ethanol and honey. Medium-bodied and a touch oily with a whisper of carbonation. Heavily sweet, but also medium bitter - provided by hops and alcohol – just a tad acidic. Finishes boozy, warm and soothing. Nice mead.

May 13, 2008 LIght honey and spice in the aroma. Has a very distinct nose, and pours a beautiful heavy oily in the glass, leaving great lacing. Warming on the palate, but tastes very clean, and very heavy, with a lingering sweet finish.

May 9, 2008 Bottle. [Courtesy of yespr, thanks buddy] Pale golden colour. Oily lacework. Aroma of spice, medicine, honey, fruit, alcohol. Full bodied with a flat carbonation and thick alcoholic texture. Heavy sweet flavour. Lingering medicine and spicy honey finish.
