2001 Vintage. An extra dark brown mead with a pleasing ild honey aroma, with light orange notes. In mouth, a superb sensuous buckwheat honey, cloves. A mead for viking kings. Thanks to Inertiaboy, Jan. 2007.

Bottled. Clear, and very nice mahogany body. Aroma is pretty much honey and alcohol. The flavor is straight forward honey with too much alcohol.

Bottle. Clear, golden mead. Flowers, honey, sugar and heather in the aroma. Honey, alcohol, heather and sweetness in the mouth. Sweetish and oily mouthfeel. I liked the aroma, but it tasted bad and had too much alcohol. (070430)

Dark amber color. A very balanced Mead, with a herbal touch, similar to Italian digestive liquors, warming, alcohol, sweet.

(on bottle)Cognac/mørk brun. Hides the alcohol well, with caramel and wod sents. Dispite a extremly sweet flavour, it has a nice lift in the finish. A bit of a gummibear ending.

[Vintage 2001 - sampled 2005] A dark nut-brown mead ofcourse with no head. The aroma is very sweet with powerful notes of honey and lesser notes of rosehips. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of honey, pollen, and rosehips. The mouthfeel is smooth and the body powerful, leaving a little alcohol burn on the tongue and in the cheeks.
