Bottle. Colos is dark brown. Aroma and taste are honey and alcohol. Perfect balance. Excellent mead.

This corked bottled mead from a bottle shop poured virtually no head except for a few large sized clear colored bubbles that were quickly gone. The transparent uncarbonated orange colored body left a oily lacing on the side of my glass. The strong aroma was all honey like in a vinous sweet nectar. The mouth feel was mildly tingly at the start and strongly tingly at the finish with a vinous aftertaste. This mead burns in your lungs if you inhale its succulent vapors. The burn continues as it goes down your throat. The strong flavor contained notes of sweet vinous and honey. A wonderful best in class brew. It is a very good and interesting vinous mead. Almost forgot the quote from JSquire when we had this, "Its better than gay sex in a teachers lounge!" Did he really say that?

Clear golden, still body with legs. The nose is honey, apple, pears and lightly floral with alcohol and bourbon. The flavor is very sweet and boozy with honey, cotton candy and apple. Full body is sticky and still with a hot finish.

Drunk steaming hot. Aroma is a mix between grain, brewmash and of course honney. Alchohol is very well hidden in the flavor, and the honney sweetness comes through nicely in balance with the malts.

The aroma is not right. It smells like a sweet oaken sake. The appearance is copper. The flavor is sweet with honey, alcohol, and caraway. The palate is smooth but thin and the finish is hot. Overall I am not in love with this.

Enormous glass at Max’s. Thanks, Casey! Shared with plenty of people. Bright golden orange color; excellent legs and clarity. Very generous, boozy aroma: layered honey and mineral notes; mint and floral, with just tons of rough booze. Very viscous, full mouthfeel: tons of honey and floral notes and intense sugars; dense, heavy, filling, and way too much alcohol; smooths out significantly after a few sips, but still has rough edges; lengthy, intense honey, sugar, and herbal notes in the finish.

Bottle shared with hotstuff and thedm. The nose seemed like a mix of English Leather, hair spray and mimiograph paper. It is a very hot drink with lots of noticable alcohol. Honey, caraway seeds, celery salt, but just too much alcohol. Definitely a sipper.
