(Ceramic bottle 75 cl) Comes as "Gl. Dansk Eng-Mjød" - the old name for it. Amber coloured with a slight haze, completely flat. Thick honey aroma. Very sweet sherry flavours and distinct notes of honey and overripe fruit. Very warming alcohol. Spiced with meadowsweet. 111005

75 cL bottle. Pours clear golden yellow with no head. Sweet honey and slight herbal aroma and with a clear feel of alcohol. Sweet flavoured with a nice honey lingering into the finish. Very smooth and quite soft on the alcohol. Pleasant finish.

Bottle. No head and no lacing. Clear pale yellow colour. First impression was that of a sherry. Other notes of medicine, floral, heavy raisins, honey. Medium to full bodied with a flat carbonation. Alcoholic texture. Moderated to heavy sweet flavour. Sweet finish. Thanks to Papsoe

Bottle in Copenhagen. Not as sweet or rich as some of the other meads I’ve had, but subtlety was quite nice. Honey with floral notes.
