Notes of alcohol and spice, but this has a lot more sweetness and even a floral touch that comes and goes. Hints of vanilla that leads into a full on honey experience. Very solid flavors, enjoyable.

Bottle. #2600 [Courtesy of yespr, thanks buddy] Lovely golden / honey colour. Oily lacework. Aroma of spice, honey, medicine, fruit, alcohol. Full bodied with a flat carbonation and thick alcoholic texture. Heavy sweet flavour. Lingering medicine and honey like finish.

I could barely finish 2 ounces of this stuff. Lots of alcohol in the nose and the warmth on the way down is definitely noticeable. The way it goes down is much more like a cocktail than a beer. Flavour was unique as well. As I haven’t had all that many meads, I am just kind of blindly filling in numbers because I have to. I definitely need to understand the style better before I make a real call.

Sample from bottle, huge thanks to gnoff. Clear golden, no head at all. Strong honey aroma, alcohol, some floral notes. Sweet honey flavor, floral notes, oily palte. Alcohol is very well hidden, but you can still feel the strength.
