Heavy mouthfeel, Spice and honey dominate, alcohol isn’t upfront, I could get into alot of trouble with this one! Tasted at the woodshop gathering. Thanks Chris!

Pours orange and still. Smells of honey, lots of flowers, and spicy. Taste is sweet with lots of honey undertones. Very quaffable and enjoyable.

A rich chocolate-honey coloured beverage. For a mead, a very good surprisingly fresh honey aroma. Thickish mouthfeel, very drinkable, and at this ABV very dangerous. Fantastic with meals, many meals. Excellent mead, thank you so much Papsoe as this was a good fee.

Bottle, thanks go to sk8viking for the opportunity! Still, translucent light-medium golden pour leaving nice legs on the glass. Nose picked up a hefty dose of honeycomb sweetness accented by light floral and woody notes and definite underlying alcohol... came across as well-balanced. This was definitely thicker on the palate than the pour let on... which is a good thing. Flavor was of moderately-heavily sweet fresh honey, and rising alcohol.. left a mild burn on the tongue and was very warm at the finish. Light herbal bitterness at the finish. Excellent stuff!

Amber, long legs. Rich cognaclike aroma, flowery sweetness. Sweet sugary, flowery notes. Sticky, oily mouthfeel.

Dark amber color. Mellow, wine aroma. Balanced taste (sweetness, alcohol…), a bit herbal. Ends with the necessary bitterness.
