A brownish mead with no head. The aroma is very sweet with notes of honey and rosehips. The flavor is very sweet completely dominated by honey but with the alcohol setting in from the middle to the end - in the beginning just as the tast of alcohol, but then turning in to a warming feeling on the tongue to end almost like a burn on the tongue - very nice and it gives a lot of warmth on a cold summers night. The flavor also contains notes of flowers and rosehips. A great mead.

(Ceramic bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear golden. Fat aroma of spices, honey and alcohol. Full-bodied, sweetish spicy with distinct honey and alcohol that warms tremendously in the finish. Quite lovely. 200408

Dark golden colour. Sweet honey/beehive aroma. Flavour is sweet, but I miss some more honey taste.

Bottled. Dark goldeny orange colour, no head. Aroma is lots of fruits, nectar, honey and sweet wooden notes. Also some alcohol and herbal notes. Flavour is quite much the same along with some rather woodenbarrel notes and mild spicyness also. Burning spicy and alcoholic finish. Whoa!
