Had this on tap at the brewery. Good and spicy. Dark dark brown. Christmas style ale with lots of cloves, dried fruits, cinnamon and other similiar flavors. Decent duration of similiar flavors. Good.

Bottle thanks to Kan for this one. Dark brown to opaque with beige/tan head. ARoma is spicy, cinnamon, right on the money christmas aroma. Flavor is nutmeg, cinnamon, intene, slight coffee, once again, like christmas, dry. Medium to light body. Tasty but wouldn’t want to have more than one bottle at a time, thanks kan!

Bottled. Sent as an extra in trade with my man pantanap. Thanks Kan! Color is clear ruby-brown. Some faint carbonation, with light tan swirls. Instantaneous classic Christmas Ale aroma. Pretty pungent, with lots of cinnamon, nutmeg, potpourri, stale gingerbread and light cocoa. A bit unbalanced. Flavor is like the aroma, but with weaker overall, with a bit of black licorice thrown in there. A bit of a thin palate, with lasting Holiday spice notes. Nice.

12oz bottle thanks to dukefan......dark caramel brown, almost stoutish, with a quickly dissipating light tan head..... assertive aroma of cinammon, nutmeg, pumpkin and a whole lot more... flavors of sweet holiday spice consisting of the aforementioned accents. nice sweet malt backbone. medium carbonation and also had some body to it. did not care too much for the bitterness in the finish though. all in all, a pretty nice holiday time brew...

12oz bottle from hoppymeal. Pours a dark cola brown with very little head; some white bubbles around the edge of the glass. Super holiday spice on the nose; pine, clove, nutmeg and cinnamon. Taste is kind of like the smell of fresh sawdust up front and then quickly into the spice with some maltiness, but this one is all about the holiday spices. This definitely reminds me of Anchor OSA. Good brew and from the aged OSAs that I have had, I bet this one would be fantastic many years down the road. Thanks Derek for the interesting bonus!

Drink at Dark Horse in Marshall MI. Average creamy/frothy light brown head with fair lacing. Dark red body hue. Aroma of heavy spices, allspice, nutmeg, clove standard pumpkin pie spices. Also picked up a hint of raisins. Flavor taste similar to smell, cloves all spice, nutmeg, pumpkin, initial flavor followed by mild sweet malt finished with clove and spices. Average aftertaste. Mild body with watery texture, soft carbonation.

12oz bonus from sleestack, shared with my GF. glad this was low in Alc so I could pop it early in the night. Pours black with a tan head. Nose is sweet, taste is rich and quite potent. Big beer in a little package, pretty intense at cellar temp prob better to chill this one a tad.

Dark in color with a nose filled with spices, chocolate, coffee beans and banana bread. In the mouth it was concentrated, rich, and again very spicy. This was a quite spicy and enjoyable.winter brew.
