Commercial Description:
100% malted barley gives this classic ale a mild biscuit, toasted malt taste. This is a medium bodied beer with perfect balance of malt flavors. The color is a brilliant amber, while the aroma is slightly fruity and malty.

Bottle, extra in a trade. Pours an amber golden body with a white head. Big malt bill, some light citric flavor. Sticky and some cookies or breadiness about it. Simple and sweet with some light dry finish. eh.

I must have gotten a bad bottle. Amber in color with off white head. Horrible off taste and I poured it down the drain. I will get another bottle in the future and re-rate it.

12 ounce bottle from a friend. Thanks! Pours a dark golden amber with a thin white head. No head retention and lacing. Aroma is toasted malts with caramel and stone fruits. Taste is syrupy peaches, caramel, toasted malts. Medium bodied.

This is one of my favorite beers to drink at the Dark horse brewery, great for washing down a pizza.

A rusty, cloudy amber color with a thin soapy white head that fades pretty quickly.Aroma is Belgin yeast, apple, cherries, and a hint of earthy clove. Flavor starts off toasty and sweet then fruity, then a grassy hops and hint of clove.Nice malty flavors, caramel and grain. Thin body and mouthfeel, nice little herbal aftertaste/finish.Quite drinkable.

Pour is, appropriately, amber and very hazy with a thin white head that soon turns into a ring. Smell is caramel malts and surprisingly heavy. Same on the flavor. Sweet and bitter, yet almost watery. Not a bad brew, but Dark Horse has a lot better.

bottle. Aroma has notes of fruit, yeast, caramel. Medium brown hue with an average sized off white head that mostly diminished. Flavor is sweet and slightly bitter. Palate is light bodied and soft. Tastes more like a watered down belgian strong than an amber ale. Wack a do.
