Commercial Description:
100% malted barley gives this classic ale a mild biscuit, toasted malt taste. This is a medium bodied beer with perfect balance of malt flavors. The color is a brilliant amber, while the aroma is slightly fruity and malty.

12oz bottle. Poured a clear dark orange color. The head was short, off white, and reduced immediately to a thin film. Smelled of light toffee, subdued graham cracker, and cereal grain. Light to medium bodied and slightly sweet. Earthy, spicy malt flavor with hints of clove, cinnamon, and fig.

Pours dark amber from the tap. Much like an IPA in it’s aroma and consistency. Plenty ofhops with a touch of smoke. Awfully bitter finish.

12 oz bottle. Pours burnt orangish amber with no head. Kinda looks like ice tee. Aroma is yeasty with breads and malt which is throwing me off a little. Flavor is biscuty and yeasty. Taste more like a belgain strong ale than an amber ale. Is it te breweries objective to mislable beers.

I don’t remember where we got this from, but I shared it with Juart. Pours a full orangish amber color. A thin white fizz for the head that disappears quickly. A biscuity sweet aroma with a yeasty spice and slight piny hop. A very smooth flavor. A pretty hoppy flavor, but not overpowering. Some brown sugar and a grassy hop. A spicy fruityness. A nice balance to it. Leaves a little dry bitterness on the tongue that grows the more you drink it. A bit of a watery texture.

Bottle from the Beer Geek. Amber color with a minimal white head. Rather thinnish with mild carbonation. Aroma is light non-citrus fruit and light malt roast. Flavor is spicey, bready, lightly toasted malt. Hop is not exactly bitter, but sort of. It is a bit fruity. Finish is really pleasant, not quite dry, but not quite sweet. Pretty tasty.

12 oz. bottle shared with Naka. Pours amber red with little head, white and fizzy, small and rimming. Nose is fruity, apple, caramel and biscuit. Taste is caramel, apple, banana and spice, some floral and citrus hop flavor with moderate bitterness. Good Belgian feel. Very dry. Grassy bitter lingers. Tasty ber.

12 oz trade bonus. Pours orange copper with a decent head to start that fades. Nice sweet malty nose, with a sweet malty taste. Drinkable and sweet but pretty decent.

Unfiltered look with deep orange hue. Light head, full bodied flavor of malty sweetness, but too sweet for me. Prefer a lighter, drier Amber, but OK. On tap at Lunar Brewing.
