Commercial Description:
100% malted barley gives this classic ale a mild biscuit, toasted malt taste. This is a medium bodied beer with perfect balance of malt flavors. The color is a brilliant amber, while the aroma is slightly fruity and malty.

Bottle bours a very hazed garnet color with very little head reduced to surface haze. The aroma is of malt, soap, caramel, some grass, and fruit. The flavor is dry malt, sort of wheat like, some hop oil, and some lingering citrus/sour notes. I’d swear this has wheat in it, but it claims to be 100% malted barley. The palate lives up well as it has a nice refreshing carbonation and some body. Overall I find this one to be a decent Amber. I’d have it again.

On tap at Jerry’s. Orange-amber with big, foamy tan head / Caramel, banana, and malt nose / Light body with some creamy hops adding a nice balance, and with decent finish / Flavors of burnt sugar, banana, bubblegum, caramel, and sour malt / A very peculiar addition to the loose amber category. More of a Belgian ale.

Pours amber with a small head. Aroma is malt, and spicy yeast. Taste is similar, mostly malt and banana. Flavor is pretty week, and the beer is too thin.

12oz bottle, no date. Clear medium orange with a tiny light beige yellow head that even after rousing left a thin ring after about ten seconds. This smells much more like a Belgian Ale than an amber--some spicy Belgian yeast and banana notes dominate here. Toasted malt biscuit notes, a bit of damp earth (not mud), and caramelized candi sugar are also present. Flavor had a fair amount of floral hops, spicy yeast and banana again, toasted biscuits, and not much else. Dry finish with bitterness at the back corners of my tongue peaking at a 3. It does burp a little bit of burnt plastic. Flavor was a little weak.Very low carbonation with a medium body. I originally thought this was rated a little low, but it’s really pretty close to what I had since the flavor wasn’t so hot.

12 oz bottle from tytoanderso; nose of caramel, light vanilla, and very light floral hops; lightly hazed copper with a small off-white head; flavor is nutty with some hop bitterness; finish is lightly bitter.

(Bottle) Pours a hazy dark golden color with only a small amount of head. Aroma of biscuits and toasted grains. Taste is similar. The good thing about this beer in my mind is the body. Although nothing really stands out to me in the taste, the body is pretty good. Still could use some improvement, but easy to drink and refreshing.

12 oz. bottle via trade with tytoanderso - Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small off white head. Very light spotty lacing. Aroma is esters and herbal hops. Flavor is herbal hops and light toasted malt. Tastes and smells a lot like a pale lager or pilsner. Light to medium body. Has a slight lingering hop aftertaste. A decent beer. Thanks Tyler.
