Jan 25, 2005 Murky copper body with instantly disappearing beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, coriander, some orange peel, light herbal. Taste is medium sweet, candi sugar, coriander, orange, some herbal. Nearly flat medium body.

Jan 10, 2007 12oz bottle acquired in trade with Puddintane (thanks!). Poured a deep and cloudy amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of bananas, lightly spicy, some caramel and a little bready. Interesting aroma that grew on me. Tastes of bread, toasted malts, and had a lighter fruitiness than the aromas. Thinner yet creamy body.

Apr 17, 2007 12oz bottle: Pours a transparent copper bronze with a thin, wispy-lacing froth of white head. Sweet toasty Belgian malty aroma has some peppery yeasty notes. Body starts lightly sweet and toasty, but thins toward a drier, earthy finish with a hint of black pepper. A nice, Belgian-style session brew.

Jun 9, 2007 A dissapointing effort by an otherwise dandy brewery. It pours a pale yellowish amber body with a slender off-white head. The faint aroma has some watery caramel and an earthiness to it. It tastes like watery, dusty caramel with watery molasses and a somewhat metallic bitterness. Jan 19, 2007 Bronze color with a light beige head. Aromas of light fruit, with a backdrop of rhubarb and wild flowers. Flavors of bananas and other fruits. Some hints of spicy yeast. A nice mild Belgian style brown ale. Thanks Blake.

Oct 4, 2005 Draft at Dark Horse. Dark amber color with moderate white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Moderate sweet spicy aroma. Medium body with smooth texture. Complex moderate hop and candy flavor with a medium bitter finish. Interesting brew.

Apr 4, 2007 Bottle from sliffy via Mystery Swap 2.0. Turbid ruby/deep coppery pour with 1-finger off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, toffee, brown sugar, hops. Tastes caramel malty, with brown sugar, hops, maple syrup, and some dark fruit notes. Thins out a bit as it warms.
