The nose has a touch of light hoppiness. Fresh and citrusy with a lot of grapefruit and lemon peel. Tropical with a lot of mango and pineapple as well. Really fresh and hoppy smelling. The flavour is also quite hoppy with a kiss of wheaty spiciness on the back. Fairly herbal bitterness, but it’s really damn smooth – I could drink a lot of this stuff. Juicy tropical fruit aroma- some peach, mango (Amarillo/ juicy U.S. hybrid hops) backed by a chewy crystal malt husk note. Creamy body with a fruity and juicy Amarillo flavor as well. Some citric orange peel with that sweet tropical fruit presence of peach and mango. The husky medium crystal back gives this brew a substantial body and I did not feel the alcohol at all. A rounded and juicy Barley Wine.
