JFGrind (1346), Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 2, 2009 Surprise draft @ Royal Tavern in south Philadelphia. Hearty, brown ale with definite sweetness, and roast + chocolate malt. as the Fall weather begins here in Philadelphia it just enhanced the flavor of this beer in my mind. danielcurtis81 (879), San Diego, California, USA Sep 13, 2009 BPW #25
Served on tap at Dark Horse Brewing Company. Appearance is a creamy and rich brown with a medium light brown head. Aromas are full of nice medium roast malt. Flavors follow with mild toasted malt; different sweet flavors come through, some different hard shelled nuts perhaps. Nice brown ale here.
