Medium brown. Nutty, toasty aroma. Thinnish body. Lean malt notes are not supported with bitterness or yeast by-product.

Draft. Umber to brown in color, with a smaller off-white head. Caramel, nuts and toasted grain aromas. Mild pale malt in the front. Gets more toasty and additional bitter the deeper you get. Finish is dry with a hint of black malt. An average brown ale.

Draft at 2007 Michigan BGWF. Poured hazy brown color with a moderate light brown frothy head that diminished slowly with good lacing. Good complex sweet malty aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture. Medium toasted sweet flavor with a moderate smooth sweet finish of moderate duration. Good complex brew.

On tap at the brewery. Thin, slightly tan head. The color is a very dark amber with some brown coloring. The aroma is pears and light cinnamon with a hint of oranges. The taste is bread crust, oranges and high waulity dried tobacco. Very nice and satisfying brown.

Standard stuff, average brown pour. Malty, chocolate, nutty, toffee aroma. Slightlt sweet with mild bitter undertone. Some woody and smoky finish tones. Quaffable but that's about it, I've had worse.

Spot-on brown, enjoyed at the brewery. Dark brown, malty sweetish with a nice bitterness in the finish. Malty aroma and a tad above average mouthfeel.

Pours a dark ruby colour, with roasty smoke notes in both the aroma and flavour. Fairly malty
