Mar 22, 2009 Had in bottles. We finally get them in Dayton, OH at Belmont Party Supply. First had this beer at a SW Mich. Brew tour, and as it turned out, it was the best beer on the trip and this included Bell’s and New Holland. This IPA is dark amber, darker than most ipa’s and the taste profile is sweet, well balanced and finshes with a floral hop presence that ends a tad on the dry side. Not overly hopped, unfortunately, but still a very tasty, different IPA. Even better on draft.

Mar 5, 2009 Updated: Jul 30, 2009Pours a hazy orange with full head. Nice hops flavor with a bit of spice. Just enough bitterness to make a nice IPA. Finish is bitter and dry. It’s a nice clean beer. Will definitely have this now and then. Update: Tap at Dark Horse...very solid IPA in every way. Easy, flavorfull drinking.

Feb 27, 2009 Cloudy golden-amber. Big fresh hop nose is spicy, woody with light orchard fruits. This just drips with hops. Pithy, dry, herbal bitterness. Clean. Very dry in the finish. Minimalistic maltinesss and brash hoppiness.

Feb 25, 2009 At Detroit Airport. Glowing orange with hazy texture. Thick head. Hoppy and pine nose. Prickly texture. Lots of hops in the flavour. Really good. Tangy, bitter finish.

Feb 23, 2009 Nice fresh bottle at Dak’s--thank you Ryan and Felicia! Bright luminescent orange with white head. Bright hoppy aroma is full of tropical fruit esters esp. mango. Clean malt backbone. Sweet apples and pineapples too. The flavors follow: a nice grain backbone with a nice texture too. Excellent loving hop, hoppy yum yum.

Feb 23, 2009 Smelled the hops as I cracked open the bottle. dark golden in color with an immense white head. Tastes good with an ok aftertaste.

Feb 20, 2009 Bottle. Pours a great, golden deep yellow color. Aroma is big sweet and hoppy. Taste is bold. Complex body, big sweet up front but a nice deep, complex palate of haps. Great IPA, try this one out, Big, hoppy and sweet and flavorful
