Oct 18, 2008 pours murky clouded yellow with strong florals in the nose. well bittered but with an almost ’dirty’ element echoed from the appearance. this is off the beaten path amongst the 1000s of IPAs out there. had this a couple times in bottles and was unable to come up with anything profound enough to warrant a review (might still be having that trouble) but on tap at the brewpub it was a bit of a revelation and just moved up the ranks of my favorite IPAs and beers in general.

Pours a thick, cloudy, inviting cheddar orange with a delicious aroma of melon-infused grapefruit. Notes of peach nuts dropped in pine tar are noticeable in the background. Flavor is grapefruit adopted by a family of roasted nuts soaked in cereal. Nice, thick mouthfeel. Pretty good stuff.

Sep 30, 2008 Hops Hops Hops - Love it! Nice flavor - crispy - outdoors and piney. Mouthfeel is perfect for me - nice carbonation - aftertaste stays with ya.
In my books- this is a very good IPA

Sep 29, 2008 draft in Deetwah City. Yum. Did I say yum? Very well balanced hops profile. Some IPAs scream aspirin. This is a beer that has no flaws and just plain nails an IPA style. Not too biter, not at all boring. Good aroma, nice lacing.

Sep 20, 2008 Bottle. Hazy dark amber pour,with a solid head and lots of sediment (nice). Very crisp,dry flavor,with a citrus/pine finish. Good mouthfeel,this is just palin good stuff. :) Glad I have 5 more !

Sep 14, 2008 12oz bottle. This beer is pretty damn good. Pours hazy amber with a moderate sized, sudsy white head, good lace. Smells hoppy citrusy and slightly astringetn. Tastes pretty subtleyawesome. Light, sweet citrus flavors with some slight malt sweetness. A bit of pine and some grass with the citrus as well. Medium body, a little watery, good carbonation.

Sep 10, 2008 this beer isnt bad......especially from calhoun county. fairly hoppy, as slight bitter to it, but could use a little more kick. not a bad beer.
