Commercial Description:
It’s not as heavy bodied and malty as many IPA’s, in contrast the palate is more crisp and dry. If you consider yourself a "hop-head" you owe it to yourself to grab this beer.

Based on appearence, I would be worried. But as far as flavor, it exceeds expectation. Not much head to the pour, color is golden cloudy amber, really crisp for it’s texture. Solid hop flavor, fills the void for a reliable, everyday session.

Poured a cloudy amber from the tap with a white head of foam. Standard IPA in my book. Loaded with hops. Not right for my alate, but definitely a good IPA (if that’s what you’re into)

Yeasty. Lots of sediment in bottle. Looking beyond this, it still falls short. The palate was hops than water. It dropped me right off a cliff. To make matters worse some char from my grilling found my glass and than I had yeast and char floats. After all this I still enjoyed it, but only par for an IPA.

12 oz. bottle - thanks to pepsican for the trade; very hazy orange with no head; bitterness is there in the aromas, but much more on the sweet, sugary side; little to no bitterness in the flavor; light and creamy malts; strange when thinking of the extreme sweetness of the double tree, which seems more like a quadruple tree; body is great and flavor a little on the light side, but a very enjoyable IPA

I had about 3 or 4 of these last night. Pours burnt roange witha frothy off-white head. Aroma is floral hops, citrus and pine. Flavor has a big citrus and floral hop punch with notes of pine and light fruits. Could have drank this all night as drinkabilty is good with the low ABV. Not as resiny as the Double Crooked IPA. Will buy again.

12 oz bottle into pint glass. Nice woody orange pour with a big off-white head that holds pretty well and leaves some chunky lacing - LOTS of yeast sediment in the pour though... I didn’t expect an 6% IPA to be bottle conditioned. Great inviting floral and resin hop aroma with more malt presence than most IPAs I have had. Flavor and body are pretty reserved but still very appealing - good full pine hop character that develops into a more floral taste in the finish. Bitter but not overly biting bitter. As was the case with BeerBarron (2 ratings below mine), the flavor of this brew definitely grew in appeal and complexity after a few sips. A good soft balance. Light carbonation and a mouth feel. Overall: very solid IPA, highly sessionable. I wish it was my local IPA! Can’t wait to try the double crooked.

Pours a hazy orange with a nice foamy orange head and good lacing. Sweet malts and stingy floral hops, very earthy and piney, some citrus, kinda like hopsoulution in its awkwardness. Grapefruit, peachy, kinda herbally... but at the same time its so earthy and very bitter. Sugary mouthful, medium/full, nice lively but not intrusive carbonation. Finishes dry. Enjoy this more than the double for sure...

12 oz. bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange copper with chuncks of yeast in suspension. Little head and little lacing. Nice aroma of citrus and floral hops. Taste fallows suit with the aroma and an added light malt sweetness to the background. Like the description says crisp and dry on the palate. Good IPA, although the particulates cosmeticly harmed this beer, there is nothing wrong with it otherwise.
