Nov 2, 2009 pours amber with lotsa floaties and a nice off white head that lasts a long time. nose is piney soapy hops. flavor is similar lotsa hops with a small amount of malts balancing it out. nice refreshing IPA.

Oct 19, 2009 In the bottle. Thanks to KJ for the beer. Pours copper amber with a thick off white head. Intense pine and grapefruit citrus aroma. Strong bittering hops of oranges, grapefruit and Lysol. Medium thick palate absorbs these with a mellowing syrupy sweetness of the malt. Enjoyable.

Oct 11, 2009 Cask @ Chelsea’s Brewing Co. in NYC this past weekend. It pours a hazy orange body with nice white lacing. The aroma is citrus and pine hop. The flavor is pretty crisp and hoppy - but nothing over the top.

Oct 11, 2009 Nice, even IPA. Taste taste of subtle hop flaovr. Nice taste of mild piney, grapefruit, but in a pleasurable format. Somewhat creamy(like nugget nectar). Great IPA, would loke to get some double crooked tree!

Oct 8, 2009 bottle - mild spicy aroma, light gold pour with frothy white head. moderate hop bite, but not a lot of flavor. very thin mouthfeel. while it’s true to it’s description - not has heavy bodied and malty (which is fine by me) - the flavors just don’t meld into an enjoyable lighter bodied IPA (such as a Big Daddy IPA)

Oct 4, 2009 Kindly special ordered by Festival in Fond du Lac. Pours light amber with beautiful head. Very frothy almost like whip cream and a lot of lacing. Unfiltered which is definately ok. Aroma is fruity and floral. Good bitterness (grapefruit/citrusy), but also some good malt character in the foreground (which I like in an IPA).

Oct 3, 2009 (Bottle, Monk’s Café, Wallingatan, Stockholm, 2 Oct 2009) Amber colour with rocky, beige head, leaving lots of lacing. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of orange peel, grapefruit and hints of pine needles. Fruity, malty taste with orange peel, grapefruit, grainy malt, caramel and a dry, hoppy finish with lots of citrus. Medium body. Nice and tasty IPA in good balance.

Sep 30, 2009 bottle. This one starts with an nice off-white head. A fruity nose followed by a crisp refreshing hop taste powers this ipa. Ends with a sticky finish. very good ipa. More please.
