May 20, 2007 Updated: Aug 23, 2007Nice pour with sudsy head. Lot’s of floaties. This I.P.A. stands out with it’s earthy/grassy aroma and taste. It’s unique and that’s why I keep it in the fridge at all times.

May 18, 2007 On draft @ Ashley’s in Ann Arbor. Pours a hazy oxidized copper with a nice off white head. I can’t get much aroma but some light pale maltiness and subtle hints of tangelo. Big citrus orange to grapefruit juice hop flavor and bitterness. Spot on hop bitterness for the style and a nice addition of sweeter citrus hop flavor. Just noticeable malts in the background. I noticed the empty glass had nice lacing left behind. Darn good IPA.

May 17, 2007 A standard IPA, probably worth getting again. Light citrus, some hoppy resin in there. Nothing overpowering but easily drinkable.

May 14, 2007 Prominent west coast aroma - sweet, caramel, western hops. Medium diacetyl. Very cloudy. Big head. A very good AIPA. Bottle. McNiven’s, Indianapolis.

May 9, 2007 Bottle: Pours a murky orange/copper color with a min. white head and quite a bit of sediment. Mild citrus scent with faint hops lurking. Taste is much better than it looks or smells. Picked up quite a bit of pine and citrus hops that starts sweet and ends with a good hop finish. Pretty good IPA from a brewer I hadn’t tried previously.

May 5, 2007 Pours a hazy golden orange color with a medium white head. Grapefruit aroma with piny hops abound. Taste is citrusy with a malty backbone. Grapefruit and caramel are most prominent. Good but lacking that IPA bite.

May 1, 2007 12 oz bottle VIA sliffy at Mystery Swap 2.0 (thanks man!). This pours a hazy unfilter orange with an average sized beige head. Nose is strong with citrus and pine. Taste like it smells with some added orange peel, but it lacks a decent malt backbone. Body is way too light for the amount of hoppiness here. With that said, it is actualy smooth, but like a smooth hop tea. Carbonation is medium. I love hops, hops and more hops....but there needs to be at least some body..this one lacks body bigtime.
